What this event is about

Teams decrypt Aristocrats, Patristocrats, and other classical ciphers. Division B cipher list is in the official rules.

Study plan

  1. Master frequency analysis and pattern words (THE, AND, THAT).
  2. Drill timed Aristocrats daily.
  3. Assign roles: one partner on math/K1/K2 ciphers if included.
  4. Use previous invitational Codebusters tests.

Tips

Pencil lightly; erase cleanly. Don’t fight a bad tip — restart the mapping.
